Now that I’m done being pregnant (for good) and a mother of two, I’m way more focused on my health and fitness levels. I need to be healthy for myself and to be a good role model to my children. I need to be in shape to keep up with them! With that being said, I’ve been trying new foods and exercises a lot lately! I was recently approached by Lorissa’s Kitchen to try their meat snacks. In today’s post, I’m going to share my opinions on the 4 different LK flavors.
I’ve been a mom for almost 2 full years now (not counting pregnancy). It’s so incredible how my life has changed in so many ways. After listening to a conversation by a group of women hoping to have children in the future, I started thinking a lot about my past. There’s so much about being a parent that people don’t tell you or don’t prepare you for. So, if I could go back in the past, what would I tell myself? In today’s post, I’m answering my own question! Here are all the things that I would tell pre-baby Erica to prepare for life as a mother.
Baby J is growing incredibly fast! I know that people always say that time will fly by but man, it really is flying by this time around. With Baby E, I had no idea what baby products we needed but now I feel a little bit more confident in what my absolute favorite newborn items are! In today’s post, I’m going to share a few newborn favorites (with affiliate links so you can shop!) and why I love them!
- Started life by being nursed to sleep
- Continued to be nursed to sleep throughout infancy (my bad)
- Needed to be motivated (rocked, swung, bounced) until she was even sleepy
- Had non-diagnosed reflux type issues
- Would ONLY sleep on an incline until she learned to roll over
- Mama didn’t read ONE BOOK on infant sleep until it was way too late
- Finally had to cry it out
- Didn’t officially sleep through the night until 11 months
- TBD but I’m definitely not repeating last time!
Sleep is so precious and valuable. After dealing with Baby E’s sleep situation, I told myself I wouldn’t let that happen again (if I could have any control over it). So I’ve made it my goal to give Baby J positive sleep habits and I’m going to share what has helped us so far!
I am super excited to say that I am currently on day 28 of my “Whole 30”. It’s been pretty great and I can’t wait to share it ALL once I’m done. A few days ago, someone asked me about the drinks that I’ve been consuming. It honestly hadn’t occurred to me that I was literally only drinking plain water and coffee! I totally forgot about the fact that most sparkling water options are “Whole 30” approved. I tried this awesome drink with Perrier Sparkling Water to spice up my daily drink monotony and love it! So I’m going to share it today!
