Maternity fashion is all the rage whenever you’re expecting. When you’re feeling down or just not like yourself, a nice new outfit can definitely cheer you up! So when you’re pregnant, finding the cutest and nicest thing to wear can be very exciting. On the other hand, pregnancy is not permanent. Although nine months may seem long, it can fly by in the blink of eye. This leaves some women wondering if it is even worth it to purchase any maternity clothing. With this being my second pregnancy, I feel that I have enough background to answer the question: “Should I or should I not purchase a maternity wardrobe?”. In today’s post, I’m doing just that! I’m answering the question (in my opinion, obviously) as well as discussing the pros and cons of this topic!
There are always little things that brighten my day. I’ve decided that not only do I want to share the little things that I’m loving lately but I also don’t want to forget them. So hopefully each month I can share a bit of what I’ve discovered and absolutely love!
Also, I know that it’s April 4th, haha. I’m on mom-time where I’m late to do everything and blame it on my busy life 😉
Time is moving by so fast. I’ve honestly never had this thought in my life. Life has always moved at an appropriate speed for me. Though, this pregnancy has felt quite long. After my most recent prenatal appointment, I began to realize that this sweet little baby boy will be here before I even know it; 5-7 weeks or less to be exact. Coincidentally, Baby E has been acting more and more
clingy affectionate. I could be annoyed or frustrated or upset that she has been acting this way but instead, I’ve embraced it with the fullest heart imaginable.
In about a month or so, Baby E will no longer be my only baby. I’ve been so busy that I never really thought about this but I can sense that Baby E has. I know that we will find our footing and schedules as a family of four but it’s easy to see that the first few months will be a transition for us all. Baby E will no longer have my undivided attention. She will no longer be able to be picked up and snuggled by me at any given moment. My first baby won’t be the only baby anymore and I’m going to do everything in my power to relish these last couple of weeks-months I’m going to capture and enjoy my last couple of moments with my one baby. In this post, I’m going to share the remnants of one of our mundane but special mornings.
If you follow me on any form of social media , then you’ll know that I recently gave up my iPhone. Well, I didn’t completely give it up… just mostly. A few people have asked about how my “experience” is going so I figured I would share some pros, cons, stories, and ultimately my verdict on whether or not being without a smartphone is actually worth it!
I am thankfully done with my 2nd trimester and onto my final trimester of my final pregnancy! It’s mostly exciting because I’m 75 percent done and almost in the position to meet my little boy! I know that our lives are about to completely be flipped upside down but I’m excited about it all. If you read my second trimester update, then you’ll know that this trimester wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I found a lot of things to make it a little bit better and I’m going to share those in hopes that they also help other mamas too!
I never did one of these with Baby E but I had a new dress from Figure 8 Maternity to show off and a lot on my pregnant little mind. So, I’m going to share a few 2nd trimester tidbits and update y’all on how life has been going for me and the baby boy.
If you’ve followed me on Instagram for a while now, then you’ll know that I absolutely love Snap Kitchen! When I did my first Whole 30 in February, a Snap Kitchen opened up in my neighborhood. I found that a lot of meals were compliant and “celebrated” with one on day 30. I’ve realized that I always speak highly about Snap Kitchen but have never really gone into detail about why I love this place. In today’s post, I’m going to share the 5 main reasons that I love eating foods from Snap Kitchen!
